Dynameron
The Dynameron , written by Nikolaos Myrepsos in the 13th century, is the most extensive pharmacopoeia of the Christian Middle Ages and was a standard pharmacy text until the 17th century . It comprises 2650 chapters and 3000 prescriptions and contains the entire Byzantine prescription literature. The Dynameron was translated into Latin by Nicolaus Rheginus as early as the 13th century .
