description

The 4.5-ton armored multi-purpose off-road vehicle has been produced by the Polish manufacturer AMZ-Kutno since 2004. The vehicle was developed for patrols and combat missions. In addition, the Dzik can be used by police forces . The armor of the Dzik effectively protects the occupants against projectiles of the caliber 7.62 mm. The vehicle is powered by an Iveco engine with a displacement of 2797 cm³, an output of 107 kW and a range of around 800 kilometers.

In March 2006, the Iraqi military police received four Dzik-III from the Polish army as part of a modernization campaign . The Iraqi army then decided to order a total of 600 Dzik-III, which are considered a cheaper alternative to the competitor Humvee . There is also the option of expanding the order volume to 1000 pieces.
