The E.optimum AG (proper spelling e.optimum ) is a nation-wide energy provider for businesses based in Offenburg .
Business activity
E.optimum was founded in 2009 and has become Germany's largest independent energy purchasing group. The e.optimum AG supplies over 30,000 companies nationwide (as of January 2020) with electricity, green electricity and / or natural gas. The company procures the energy it needs for its members on the German and European energy markets or OTC ( over-the-counter ). It bundles the electricity and natural gas requirements of thousands of companies and buys the energy at more favorable conditions comparable to those of large-scale industry. According to the company's own statements, these purchasing benefits are passed on to members every month 1: 1.
The company also offers charging stations for e-cars and e-bike / pedelec stations through to complete parking systems and individually tailored solutions for charging electric vehicles. In addition to the individual product, customers receive the electrical installation or the complete package including civil engineering work if required.
As a metering point operator, E.optimum has been offering the installation, provision and maintenance of digital electricity meters since 2017 . This also includes the reading and the transfer of the reading data.
