Jan-Peter Alfred Jachtmann (also Jan Peter Alfred Jachtmann ; * 1968 in Hamburg ) is a professional German poker player . He is nicknamed Hamburger Jung .
Personal
Jachtmann is the CEO of his company Jachtmann-Marketing and lives in Hamburg . Until March 2015 he was one of the publishers of PokerBlatt magazine .
Poker career
Jachtmann has been playing renowned live tournaments since 2003 .
In June 2012 , he participated in several World Series of Poker tournaments at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas . After cashing in at a pot-limit Omaha event with a buy-in of $ 3,000 , he won the Omaha World Championship nine days later for $ 661,000 and a bracelet . This was stolen from his Hamburg apartment on Christmas Eve 2014.
Overall, Jachtmann has earned more than $ 1.5 million in poker in live tournaments. He is also a regular guest on the German High Roller poker program broadcast by Sport1 . Jachtmann has been under contract with partypoker as a brand ambassador since December 2016 .
