Martin Kläser (born April 18, 1987 in Cologne ) is a former German poker player .

Career

In 2007, Kläser managed to qualify for the Full Tilt Poker Million Euro Challenge 2007 from 40,000 online applicants . Here he prevailed against several other players in a live tournament and was the winner. He then defeated Chris Ferguson and Gus Hansen one after the other in heads-up and received 350,000 euros for it . However, he failed to win millions, in the third heads-up he failed to Howard Lederer .

In 2008 he participated for the first time at the World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas part and secured a bracelet as a trophy. He won a tournament the variant Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better and received more than 215,000 US dollars . He also finished fifth at the APAT European Amateur Championship for $ 1,405.

Kläser played his last live tournament in 2009 and has earned around $ 700,000 in total in live poker tournaments.
