Teichert comes from Düsseldorf and worked there as an investor . Today he lives in Sachsenburg, Austria .

Poker career

Teichert has been taking part in renowned live tournaments since 2011 .

Teichert's first major success was winning a side tournament of the Five Diamond World Poker Classic in early December 2011 at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas , for which he received more than $ 50,000 in prize money. At the beginning of February 2012 he was successful for the first time at the main event of the European Poker Tour and cashed in in Deauville, France, for 37,500 euros . In July 2013 , Teichert won a bracelet at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. For this he prevailed in a tournament in No Limit Hold'em against 1735 other players and collected more than 730,000 dollars. He was also able to place one money each at the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) 2013 in Enghien-les-Bains and at the main tournament series in 2014 and 2015 . At the WSOPE, which took place in Berlin in October 2015 , Teichert cashed in four times, his greatest success being tenth place in the main event .
