Poker career

Peisert has been playing poker regularly since 2007 and has been participating in prestigious live tournaments since 2008 .

In mid-February 2008, Peisert won a tournament as part of the Duisburg Open and made more than 3500 euros out of a 50 euro buy-in. In November 2008, he took second place at a Master Classics of Poker tournament in Amsterdam and received more than 90,000 euros. At the end of June 2009 , Peisert was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and won a tournament in the No Limit Hold'em variant . For this he prevailed against 853 other players and secured a bracelet and a prize of more than 500,000 US dollars . In mid-August 2009 Peisert cashed in at the main event of the European Poker Tour in Kiev and finished the tournament in 40th place for around 7,500 euros. At the WSOP 2010 and 2015 , he reached the money once.

In total, Peisert has earned more than a million dollars playing poker in live tournaments.
