The EAA AirVenture Museum is an aviation museum in Oshkosh , Wisconsin, USA .
history
The founder of the Experimental Aircraft Association , the pilot and aircraft designer Paul Poberezny had the idea to build this museum. With the help of private investors, construction work began in 1982 and the opening was celebrated in 1983.
Exhibits
The museum has over 250 exhibits, including a Boeing B-17 , a North American P-51 and a Ford 5-AT , which also offers scenic flights.
