The EHC St. Moritz is a Swiss ice hockey club from St. Moritz in the Engadin , Canton of Graubünden . The venue is the Ludains ice arena in St. Moritz with a capacity of 800 seats. The club colors are yellow and blue.
history
The EHC St. Moritz was founded on January 17, 1918 and celebrated its most successful period in the 1920s. In the seasons 1921/22 and 1922/23, the club was twice Swiss champions and in the latter season also won the international championship. In the following year, the EHC won the runner-up title. Another three years later, in the 1927/28 season, the EHC St. Moritz won the Swiss championship for the third and last time.
After the Second World War, the NLB championship title in 1954 and the amateur championship title in 1966 are still recorded. The first team of the EHC St. Moritz plays in the 2nd league east, group 2, in the 2011/12 season, after the club had played in the 1st league for years until 2006/07.
