location

The municipality of Ameglia is located in the hydrographic basin of the Magra River , from whose banks it extends to the slopes of Monte Caprione . In Lunigiana , in close proximity to the Tuscan border, the distance between Ameglia and La Spezia is around 17 kilometers, Sarzana around 8 kilometers and Carrara around 15 kilometers.
