Sesta Godano (in Ligurian : Sèsta ) is an Italian commune with 1,329 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Liguria region . Politically it belongs to the province of La Spezia .

geography

Sesta Godano is on the northeastern border of the province, on the right bank of the Vara River . The common land is mostly mountainous or foothills and criss-crossed by smaller valleys. The latter all flow into the main valley, the Val di Vara .

The municipality belongs to the Comunità Montana dell'Alta Val di Vara and forms part of the Montemarcello-Magra Natural Park with its territory .
