EKS is a Swiss rap formation from Basel .
biography
EKS was founded in 2000 by Chok , Ster and Foorie . The group's first publication followed a year later. The demo tape was titled Fight to Survive . A year later, the LP Euri Kultur stinkt , which is now out of print. This release increased awareness of the group in the Basel region. The Basler then signed with the Golden Thugs Ent label . Recordz . Shortly afterwards, Foorie left the crew for personal reasons. From then on, EKS worked as a duo . In the period after that, the two rappers had several regional appearances . As a result, the duo came into contact with the Allschwil reggae band Schwellheim , with whom they performed several joint appearances. Through this collaboration, elements from other genres also flowed into the music of EKS. The group, which has since been expanded to include the singer Rose , released the album Poesie vom Rhy on October 20, 2008 .
