The EPC Consulting and Software GmbH , in short EPC, is an on computational linguistics specialized spelling correction software companies. His customers include, in particular, publishing houses and manufacturers of content management systems .
history
EPC was founded in 2013 by former employees of the Bibliographical Institute after it was announced that the language technology division would be closed. EPC has been maintaining and developing the Duden brand's computer linguistic products since then .
Products
In 2015, the updated version of the Duden Corrector for Adobe InDesign and InCopy (Version 11.0) was released, followed by the new edition of the Duden Corrector for Microsoft Office (Version 12.0) in 2016. EPC's language technology software has been used natively as part of the Creative Cloud for hyphenation and spelling correction in Adobe InDesign and InCopy since the end of 2017 . Grammar check, style correction and thesaurus are not part of the Creative Cloud integration, but can be installed additionally.
