EPIC Racing

EPIC Racing is a Spanish motorsport team based in Vitoria-Gasteiz . "EPIC" is an abbreviation for Euskadi Phil Imanol Claudio . Euskadi is the Basque name of the Basque Country , Phil Payne, Imanol Zubikarai and Claudio Corradini are leading figures in the racing team. In 2011 EPIC took over the racing teams from Epsilon Euskadi in several Formula Renault championships. In 2012 the racing team is active in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup .

In 2011, EPIC Racing took over the Epsilon Euskadi racing teams in Formula Renault 3.5 , Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and Alpine Formula Renault . In the 2011 Formula Renault 3.5 season , Albert Costa and Sten Pentus were the team's drivers. Costa scored EPIC Racing's first win in this series in the last race of the season and finished the season as the best driver of his team in fourth place in the drivers' standings. EPIC Racing also came fourth in the team classification. The team fielded three vehicles and four drivers in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. In this series too, EPIC Racing won with Alex Riberasat the season finale for the first time. In the team standings, the team took sixth place. In addition, the team used a vehicle in the Alpine Formula Renault in some races.

For the 2012 season , EPIC Racing applied for a place in the Formula Renault 3.5. However, the racing team was not selected. In 2012 EPIC Racing will only take part in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup.
