ERO grape harvester

ERO is a German manufacturer of viticulture equipment and machines for use in the vineyard .

history

ERO was founded in 1965 by the farmer Heinz Erbach. In 1970 the "Laubkreisel", the first device for viticulture, was built. In 2006, the competitor Binger Seilzug in Bingen was taken over. In May 2017, the Siegwald company took over a vacationer.

In 2018, a new plant was built in Simmern / Hunsrück for 20 million euros , where Binger Seilzug products are also manufactured.

  • Grape harvesters for mechanical grape harvesting are self-propelled devices that can be used to harvest up to 1 hectare of wine for an hour . The grapes are shaken from the vines by a shaking mechanism with a shaking frequency of up to 10 Hz and transported to the grape tank via a conveyor system. During the transport, the leaves are removed by up to four fans.
