In November 2017, the YouTuber “Homeless” published a video entitled “TÚ NO HAS ESTUDIADO EN LA ESCAC” (Eng. “You did not study at ESCAC”) in which two characters criticize the assumption that one is successful in the Spanish film industry a degree from ESCAC is required.

In October 2019, a video entitled "Zero Waste en la ESCAC" (Zero Waste at ESCAC) was published on YouTube, which criticized an initiative of the school to reduce plastic waste.
