ET-Studies is an international journal published by the European Society for Catholic Theology . She drafts theological and interdisciplinary perspectives on faith and religion in contemporary Europe. The magazine has been published twice a year since 2010 in print and digital versions .

Alignment

ET Studies brings together voices and positions from all disciplines within theology and religious studies as well as other relevant disciplines at European universities. The promotion of the dialogue between Eastern and Western Europe as well as the academic exchange with theologians of other Christian churches and other religious and cultural traditions are central concerns of the magazine.

Each issue of the magazine is dedicated to a key topic. This comes from the broad spectrum of topics and theories that relate to sources, history and world views of religious communities in contemporary European culture (s). Central objects of the discourse are also current knowledge of the human , social and natural sciences as well as challenges for theology associated with cultural and political developments.

The magazine sees itself in close connection with the pastoral constitution Gaudium et Spes of the Second Vatican Council , its relationship between church and world as well as dealing with the "signs of the times".

The magazine is published by the European Society for Catholic Theology . The journal's editor is the German social ethicist Gerhard Kruip . The international advisory board includes thirteen theologians from Eastern and Western Europe.

In addition to articles on the main topic, the individual issues of the magazine contain free articles, conference and country reports as well as reviews . Submitted articles are subjected to a double-blind peer review process before publication . The articles in the journal are published in one of the three traffic languages: English, French or German, with abstracts in the other two languages ​​in front of them.
