In the meantime, a kind of daily newspaper of ETC Förlag AB appears under the name “Dagens ETC” . ETC has regional editions for the cities and regions of Malmö , Sundsvall , Bergslagen , Örebro , Gothenburg and Stockholm . ETC, like other publications in Sweden, has received significant government support each year.

history

ETC grew out of the previous Partisano magazine, whose “0 number” appeared in December 1976. After the 10th edition of the culture-critical, left-wing magazine Partisano, the content was expanded to include political articles and reports. Since 1978 the magazine appears under the name ETC. The “founding fathers” of the Partisano were journalists Johan Ehrenberg, Timo Sundberg, Micke Jaresand and Alain Topor.

In June 2018, the Office of the Press (MPRT) decided that ETC would have to repay some of the government support because the magazine could not prove that the number of subscribers was correct.

publishing company

The ETC Förlag AB published a number of books and has an ETC set up shop.
