The bus network of 34 lines serves all communities in the Eichsfeld district and also offers regular bus connections to the Göttingen district, Nordhausen district, the Werra-Meißner district and the Unstrut-Hainich district. The network is around 1,000 km long and has 598 stops. In addition, some of the 48 buses run in the city bus systems in Heilbad Heiligenstadt and Leinefelde.

The cities of Heilbad Heiligenstadt, Leinefelde, Worbis and Dingelstädt each have a "central bus station (ZOB)". There the respective lines are linked with each other. All bus stations are equipped with electronic passenger information systems. The "mobility center" is located in the Leinefeld bus station. This is where the operational process is divided and monitored. It also serves as an information center for customers.
