E is a hybrid language that 30,000 people in the Autonomous District Rongshui in the People's Republic of China is used. The speakers are considered by the Chinese government to be of the Zhuang people .

As a mixed language, the E is composed of parts of two languages: the vocabulary and the phonology come from Chinese , the grammar, on the other hand, was adopted from one of the nearby Tai Kadai languages , which is why researchers used to regard the language as a full Tai Kadai language.
