Eapsu ( E-apsu ; Sumerian E.ZU.AB, E ^D Enki , also E-sirra, E-engurra ) referred to the "temple of the ocean" in Eridu ; Ur-Nammu also called him in short form "Temple of Enki". Hammurapi also mentioned the temple as "the rites of Eapsu".

Originally Eapsu was of Entemena of Lagash built and later by Ur-Nammu and Bur-Sin of Isin again restored .
