Earl Russell
Earl Russell , of Kingston Russell in the County of Dorset , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award and subordinate titles
The award took place on July 30, 1861 to the two-time British Prime Minister and Liberal politician John Russell .
Along with the earliest title, he was also awarded the subordinate title of Viscount Amberley , of Amberley in the County of Gloucester and of Ardsalla in the County of Meath , also to the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
