Earl of Beaconsfield , in the County of Buckingham , was a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom , which was named after the place Beaconsfield .

Award and subordinate titles

The title was created on August 21, 1876 by Queen Victoria for the British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli . Along with the dignity of Earl, he was given the subordinate title Viscount Hughenden , of Hughenden in the County of Buckingham.

Since the Earl remained childless, his titles expired on his death on April 19, 1881.
