East Saginaw ( IPA : [ iːst ˈsægınɔː ]) is a place in the US state of Michigan with around 20,000 inhabitants. It was founded in 1850 and received town charter in 1857; however, East Saginaw was united with Saginaw City to Saginaw in 1890 . Well-known citizens born in this place are Adolphe and Arthur Caille and Ferdinand Brucker .
