Eastern car was an assembly plant for motor vehicles and thus part of the automotive industry in Ireland .
Company history
The company was founded in Dublin in 1974 . It belonged to Stephen O'Flaherty's group of companies, who also operated Motor Distributors . In the same year the assembly of automobiles began. The parts came from Škoda . There was also a connection with Toyota Ireland . Production ended in 1980.
