Eberhard Bidembach the Younger (* around 1561 in Bebenhausen ; † 1591 in Tübingen ; also Eberhard Bidenbach the Younger ) was a German Lutheran theologian .

Life

Born around 1561 in Bebenhausen as the son of Eberhard Bidembach the Elder. Ä. and Sophia Brenz née Eberhard Bidembach the Elder. J. came from the Bidembach family . He probably attended the evangelical monastery school in Bebenhausen, which had existed since 1556, and studied at the University of Tübingen since July 25, 1576 . On September 24, 1578 he was awarded the title of Baccalaureus and on February 1, 1581 that of a Magister . In that year he also began another theology course. From 1587 to 1591 he worked alongside his studies as a subdeacon and shortly afterwards as a deacon in Tübingen . Bidembach studied until his death in the summer of 1591; the long course of study indicates Bidembach and his father's desire to become university teachers.
