Ecclesiam suam ( Latin for "his church") is the title of Pope Paul VI's inaugural encyclical . The encyclical was published on August 6, 1964.

Pope Paul VI In the context of the Second Vatican Council, encourages the church to reflect on its central tasks, but at the same time warns of impending confusion. The Pope explains that in “concentric circles” starting from the Church an authentic dialogue should bring the ecumenical movement, but also non-Christians and non-believers closer to the truth revealed in Christ and the unified Church. The Pope started from the way in which God offers us humans his dialogue of salvation. Accordingly, belief should be a lived reality and help turn civilization for the better. Religion , prayer , revelation , the incarnation of his Son , salvation history as a whole are expressions of the dialogue opened by God of his own free will, in love.
