Echternacher Hof (Klüsserath)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Echternacher Hof is a former estate of the Echternach Abbey in the municipality of Klüsserath (Rhineland-Palatinate). One such estate was the administrative and economic center of the farm, which was run by a monastic official, the Meier. The buildings that exist today were all built in the early 18th century and are now a listed building .

The estate is located at the eastern end of the lower village, and is divided into a baroque main building with a mansard roof and several low extensions. In a saint's house built in 1935 there are simple baroque stone figures.

After the abbey of Echternach was dissolved during the French Revolution , its property became private property.
