Vera Valerevna Nebolsina ( Russian Вера Валерьевна Небольсина ; in other transcription Vera Nebolsina * 16th December 1989 in Seversk ) is a Russian chess player .

Life

Vera Nebolsina was born in the year of the opening in the West Siberian “secret” plutonium city of Seversk . She is a consistent vegetarian and early riser. She is studying English and Chinese at the Lomonosov University in Moscow .

When she was four years old, she learned to play chess. She won the Russian U8 female championship when she was seven years old. In 1998 she won the U10 girls' world championship , a year later she was second behind Jekaterina Lagno (with a score of 9.5 out of 11) in the same age group . Both tournaments took place in Oropesa del Mar, Spain. In March 2007 she was judged Russian U20 girls champion in Saint Petersburg . In October 2007 she won the U20 World Junior Championship in Yerevan with a score of 10 points from 13 games after winning the first six games. She achieved an Elo performance of 2496 in this tournament .

In 2004 she received the title of International Women's Champion (WIM). She achieved the standards for this in 2003 at a Russian youth tournament in Serpukhov and in 2004 at the international Stars of Siberia tournament in Novosibirsk and an IM tournament, again in Serpukhov. For winning the U20 Women's Junior World Championship, she received the title of Women's Grand Master (WGM) from FIDE .

As a twelve-year-old she played in the Russian women's first division. Nebolsina has been playing for SF Deizisau in the German women's Bundesliga since 2012 . At the European Women's Club Cup 2006 in Fügen she took part on the top board of the French club Vandœuvre Echecs . In the Chinese club championship, she played for teams from Shandong and Qingdao .
