Ed Boon

Edward J. Boon (born February 22, 1964 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American video game programmer who works for Netherrealm Studios , a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment .
Boon co-founded the Mortal Kombat video game series with John Tobias . He's still working on his Mortal Kombat games and multimedia side projects. He's also voiced the games and helped with motion capture . He had a successful Bachelor of Science degree in math and computer science from the University of Illinois in 1986 .
Boon voiced the character Scorpion in both Mortal Kombat films.
