Ed Gardner
Francis Edward Gardner (born June 29, 1901 in Astoria , New York , † August 17, 1963 in Los Angeles ) was an American actor, writer , screenwriter and director .
Act
Before starting his career in show business in the early 1930s, he worked for the J. Walter Thompson advertising agency . For his services he was twice on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood immortalized.
Gardner died of liver disease at the age of 62 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles and was buried in Chapel Pines 1m Hollywood Forever Cemetery .
