Eddie Meduza
Eddie Meduza (born June 17, 1948 in Gothenburg- Örgryte; † January 17, 2002 in Nöbbele , municipality of Växjö ; actually Errol Leonard Norstedt ) was a Swedish composer , songwriter , comedian , singer and musician .
Eddie Meduza also became known with the band Eddie Meduza & the Roaring Cadillacs .
Life
Career
Errol Norstedt's first record was the 1975 album Errol . The album was not very successful, but in 1979 he made the album Eddie Meduza & Roarin 'Cadillacs , which had the hit Punkjävlar . The song Yea Yea Yea became a number 1 hit in Europe. The next album, Garagetaper , came out in 1980 and wasn't the same success as the previous album, but the next album Gasen I Botten was Eddie Meduza's big break with hits like Gasen I Botten and Mera Brännvin . Over the years he continued to produce records and toured Sweden, Norway and Finland.
Trivia
Most of his songs were in Swedish or English, but the song Bomparock Aus Österreich was in German.

He died of a heart attack only 53 years old. He has had problems with alcoholism for most of his life.
