Eddy Gutiérrez
Eddy Gutiérrez (actually Eduardo Gutiérrez James; born February 28, 1952 in Velazco , Ciego de Ávila province ) is a former Cuban sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
In 1975 he was fifth in the 400m at the Pan American Games in Mexico City and won silver in the 4-by-400-meter relay .
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, he reached the quarter-finals over 400 m and was seventh in the 4-by-400-meter relay .
He set his personal best of 45.3 s on July 3, 1976 in Mexico City .
