Edelgard Wendorf

Edelgard Wendorf, b. Rothe (born June 13, 1944 in Oppenbach ) is a German handball trainer and former handball goalkeeper .

The 1.68 meter tall goalkeeper played for TSC Berlin .

Edelgard Wendorf was in the squad for the women's handball team of the GDR and became world champion with the team in 1971.

Since September 2000 she has been a goalkeeping coach at the Berlin TSC. She is a journalist by profession (retired).

She was married to Karl-Heinz Wendorf (1933–2009).
