Genghof in St. Stefan am Walde

The noble estate Genghof is located in Oberriedl in the municipality of St. Stefan-Afiesl , near the village of St. Stefan am Walde in the Rohrbach district of Upper Austria .

The stately home Genghof was a fief of Wallseer . In 1440 it was given to Friedrich Ruedleinstorffer. In 1448 he sold the seat to Mert Öder, who held it as a sovereign fief. In 1490 Anton Burger, citizen of Freistadt , received the Genghof from Emperor Friedrich III. to fief. In 1586 the Genghof was owned by the Grienthal family . In 1647 it was owned by Hanns Heinrich Dietmayr von Morau.

Today the Genghof is a stately farm.
