1189 is called a Gerloch von Viehten. In 1455 Jacon Dachsenpekch had a good show as a fief. Under the Walchingers in 1455 the rule of Walkering Castle was merged with the noble seat Viecht, with jurisdiction in Viecht. Since then, Viecht and Walkering have had the same ownership history. Today the former noble residence has become a farm. In 1977 the former walls were demolished, the farm that is now here is a new building.
