Bauer im Thal ( Schlüßlberg )

The seat in the valley was first mentioned in documents in 1164. The property was also called Winzerthal after its owner Hartlib de Winczer . This family stayed in the noble estate until the 16th century. Then in 1521 Balthasar Winczerer sold the seat including the farm to his cousin Christoph Fröhlich. In 1541 the property was sold to Hanns Heinrich Geymann (Gewman) von Gallspach , who united Winzerthal with Trattenegg .

The noble seat is no longer preserved. However, the former Meierhof is still there today as a “farm in the valley”.
