Edgar Cardenas
Edgar Cardenas (* 16th September 1974 in Mexico City , Mexico ) is a former Mexican boxer in the straw weight .
Professional career
In 1991 he started his professional career. On May 31, 2003 he boxed against Miguel Barrera for the IBF world championship and won by knockout. However, he lost this belt to Daniel Reyes in his first title defense in October of the same year .
In 2004 he ended his career.
