The Edifício Eurípedes Simões de Paula is a brutalist building designed by Eduardo Corona in 1961 and inaugurated in 1966 . It stands as an example of the “Modern Architecture of São Paulo” ( Arquitetura Moderna Paulistana ) and is named after the historian Eurípedes Simões de Paula .

The building is located at Avenida Professor Luciano Gualberto 338 / corner of Avenida Professor Lineu Prestes on the Armando de Salles Oliveira campus of the University of São Paulo and houses the Geography and History departments of the Philosophical, Literary and Human Sciences Faculty of the University of São Paulo . For its room layout and ramps, which are intended to promote academic common sense, it has been listed by the Council for the Preservation of the Historical, Cultural and Ecological Heritage of the City of São Paulo .
