The Edificio McDonald’s is a building in the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo .

The building, which was erected between 1993 and 1994, is located in Ciudad Vieja on Calle Sarandí 558 between Juan Carlos Gómez and Ituzaingó streets and on Plaza de la Constitución . The architects of the Edificio McDonald's, which was designed as an office and commercial building, are Conrado Pintos , Arturo Silva Montero and Alberto Valenti . The construction was carried out by the company SACCEM and built for the fast-food chain McDonald’s , which has one of its fast-service restaurants in the basement, ground floor and first floor, while the upper floors are used as offices. The 17-meter-high, six-storey building with contemporary architecture, which is rather unusual in Ciudad Vieja, covers a floor area of ​​200 m². It is privately owned, registered in the cultural heritage register of the Department of Montevideo and enjoys legal, departamental protection ( Protección departamental ).
