Edim Demir (born August 25, 1985 in Silifke ) is a Turkish football player who plays for İskenderun Demir Çelikspor .

Career

Demir started with club football in the youth of his home club Silifke Belediyespor . From here he switched to the youth of Antalya Okurcularspor in 2003 .

In 2004 he moved to third division Uşakspor with a professional contract . With this club he became champion in the third division season 2004/05 and rose to the second highest Turkish division, the TFF 1st Lig . After promotion to the 2nd league, he played about one and a half seasons for Uşakspor and then moved within the league to Gençlerbirliği OFTAŞ , the second team of the first division side Gençlerbirliği Ankara . At Gençlerbirliği OFTAŞ he was more of a reservist and only played four league games by the end of the season. His team finished the second division season 2006/07 as champions and rose to the Süper Lig for the first time in the club's history .

After the rise with Gençlerbirliği OFTAŞ in the Süper Lig, Demir left this club in the summer of 2007 and moved to the third division club İskenderun Demir Çelikspor . For İskenderun DÇ he played one season and then hired for the second division Boluspor . At this club he immediately advanced as a goal getter and with 14 goals became the most successful goalscorer of his team. His team ended the season as third in the table and missed direct promotion to the Süper Lig . Instead, the team qualified for the playoffs of the TFF 1st Lig. In this Boluspor was eliminated in the quarterfinals against Karşıyaka SK . Demir was part of the Boluspor squad until the summer of 2012, but remained almost without games due to injury.

In the summer of 2012 he moved to his old club İskenderun Demir Çelikspor. With this club, too, he stayed without a game for the first season.
