Edit Herczog
Edit Herczog (born May 5, 1961 ) is a Hungarian politician of the Hungarian Socialist Party .
Life
Herczog studied at the University of Horticulture in Budapest and is an engineer for conservation technology. From 1994 to 1997 she worked for Unilever Hungary and from 1997 to 2004 for ICI Hungary . Herczog was a member of the European Parliament from 2004 .
MEPs
Herczog is treasurer of her group, the group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists & Democrats in the European Parliament, from 2009 to 2014 .
She is a member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy , of the delegation to the parliamentary cooperation committees EU-Armenia, EU-Azerbaijan and EU-Georgia and the delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly . She is a deputy on the Budget Committee , the Budgetary Control Committee , the Special Committee against Organized Crime, Corruption and Money Laundering, and the Delegation for relations with the United States .
