Edme Aimé Lucotte
Edme Aimé Lucotte (born October 30, 1770 in Créancey , † July 8, 1825 in Port-sur-Saône ) was a French Général de division .
Life
Even as a schoolboy, Lucotte sympathized with revolutionary ideas and joined the army on July 23, 1793. First he served under General François-Christophe Kellermann , later he moved to the Rhine Army under General Jean-Victor Moreau .
He later served in the war in Spain .
On March 17, 1825, General Lucotte was released into retirement. He settled in Port-sur-Saône and died there on July 8, 1825 at the age of 54.
