Edmond Schmitt

Edmond Schmitt (born November 25, 1927 in Rümelingen , Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourgish writer .

Edmond Schmitt worked professionally in journalism and in the advertising industry. Among other things, he was a correspondent for the news department of Saarländischer Rundfunk (1949–1979) and Saarland Television (1961–1967) and a freelance correspondent for German newspapers and press agencies (1949–1979). In 1953 he founded the advertising agency Schmitt Publicité in Luxembourg . He has been retired since 1987.

Edmond Schmitt is the author of three screenplays for film and television and six novels.
