Edmond Townsend

Sir Edmond Townsend (born April 22, 1845 in Cork , † January 2, 1917 in Clontymon ) was an English general practitioner .

Townsend achieved the highest medical officer rank in the British Army as surgeon-general .

On June 24, 1904, he was knighted as Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath .
