Edmund Kütten
Edmund Kütten (born September 27, 1948 in Oberleuken ) is a German politician and member of the CDU . He has been a member of the Saarland Parliament since 2004 .
education and profession
Edmund Kütten attended the Oberleuken elementary school from 1953 to 1963 and then began training as a farmer, which he completed in 1966. From 1967 to 1968 he attended the agricultural college and in 1968 took over his parents' farm. In 1991 he founded a business enterprise.

Edmund Kütten is married and has three children.
Political functions
In 1974 Kütten joined the CDU, in the same year became a member of the Oberleuken-Keßlingen-Münzingen local council and remained so until 2004. He has been a member of the Merzig-Wadern district council since 1994 and a member of the Perl local council and chairman of the CDU since 2001. District parliamentary group Merzig-Wadern. From 1994 to 2004 he was mayor of the Oberleuken-Keßlingen-Münzingen district.
