Edmundo Conde

Edmundo Gerardo Conde Cela (* 20th century) is a Uruguayan canoeist.

Edmundo Conde took part with the Uruguayan team in the 1994 South American Games in Valencia. There he won the bronze medal on the side of Claudio Pimienta , Wilser Araújo and José Luis Umpiérrez in the K4 over the 200-meter, the 500-meter and the 1000-meter course . In April of the same year he started at the XI. South American Canoe Championships 1994 in São Paulo . There he took 2nd place in the K4 over 500 meters and over 1000 meters together with Araújo, Pimienta and Umpiérrez. He was also a member of the Uruguayan squad at the 1995 Pan American Games in Mar del Plata . He started at the XV. South American Canoe Championships 1997 in K2 over 200 meters on the side of Pimienta, over 500 meters next to Umpiérrez and on the 1000 meter distance in the boat with Sebastian Gomez . He posted his best result over 200 meters and took 2nd place. He also started in the K4 over 200 meters, 500 meters and 1000 meters on the side of Pimienta, Gomez and Umpiérrez. At the South American Games in Cuenca in 1998 he won three bronze medals again in the K2 over 200 meters and in the K4 over 200 meters and 500 meters.
