Eduard Nikolayevich Mudrik ( Ukrainian Едуард Миколайович Мудрик / Eduard Mykolaiowytsch Mudryk , Russian Эдуард Николаевич Мудрик * 18th July 1939 in Starobilsk , Ukrainian SSR ; † 27. March 2017 ) was a Soviet football player .

Athletic career

Mudrik played between 1958 and 1968 for FK Dynamo Moscow in the Vysschaya League . He won the championship title of the Soviet Union in 1959 and 1963. In total, the defender ran in 184 championship games, scoring six goals.

Between 1963 and 1964, Mudrik was a member of the USSR national team . With her he took part in the European Championship finals in 1964 and was in the starting lineup both in the 3-0 semi-final victory over Denmark and in the 1-2 defeat in the final against hosts Spain . He played a total of eight international matches , with one successful goal scorer.

After the end of his career, Mudrik remained in the Dynamo organization as a functionary.
