Eduardo Gutiérrez
Eduardo Gutiérrez (born July 15, 1851, probably in Buenos Aires , † August 2, 1889 ) was an Argentinian writer.
His works from the milieu of the gauchos were very popular, especially his play about the bandit Juan Moreira . The work was initially written as a novel and adapted for the stage in 1884; it was also made into a film in 1948 and 1974.
