Eduardo Priggione

Eduardo Priggione , full name Eduardo Alberto Priggione Presa , (born March 23, 1934 in Montevideo ) is a former Uruguayan swimmer .

Priggione took part with the Uruguayan team in the 1951 Pan American Games in Buenos Aires . He was also a member of the Uruguayan squad at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki . At the games in Finland , he started both over the 400-meter and 1500-meter freestyle course . Over the 400 meters, he reached a time of 5: 12.1 minutes on July 28, 1952, but retired in his prelude won by the Japanese Hironoshin Furuhashi as fourth in the first round. Even on the 1500 meter distance, he did not take the hurdle of the first heat three days later. His swimming time of 21: 11.9 minutes only reached seventh and last place in the slowest of all six heats.
